Dan is a Managing General Partner at Highland focusing on technology and consumer investments with specific experience and interest in internet, digital marketing and media technologies. Dan has been actively involved in Highland's consumer investments and is Chairman of the Highland Consumer Fund Investment Committee. He currently serves on the boards of CMI Marketing, Coremetrics, GlobalStreams, Gotuit Media, Navic Networks, Qihoo, StyleFeeder, Top Ten Media, UUSee and Yoga Works – of which he is a co-founder. His portfolio also includes Ask Jeeves (Nasdaq: ASKJ), Be Free (Nasdaq: BFRE), Digital Market (acquired by Agile Software), eToys (Nasdaq: ETYS), Fastclick (acquired by ValueClick), Gamesville (acquired by Lycos), MapQuest.com (acquired by AOL), N2 Broadband (acquired by TANDBERG Television), New York Times Digital, NextCard (Nasdaq: NXCD), NuGenesis Technologies (acquired by Waters Corporation), Quote.com (acquired by Lycos) Raindance Communications (Nasdaq: RNDC), RoweCom (Nasdaq: ROWE) and Terra Lycos (Nasdaq: TRLY). Dan has been recognized by the prestigious Forbes Midas List as one of the top venture capitalists in the industry.
Prior to joining Highland in 1996, Dan was a Partner at CMG@Ventures where he co-led the partnership's investment activities in early-stage Internet companies. While at CMG@Ventures, Dan co-founded Lycos, Inc. in June of 1995, and played an integral role from its inception to its IPO in April of 1996, and finally through its sale to Terra Networks in 2000.
Prior to joining CMG@Ventures in January of 1995, Dan was a Senior Associate at Summit Partners focusing on later-stage technology and environmental investments. He also worked at Wang Laboratories from 1983 through 1989 in a variety of sales management and sales positions.
Dan holds a BS in Computer Science from Boston College an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Jeff Andrews joined Atlas Venture in 2001. He invests in hardware and software companies serving large and growing markets such as energy, mobile electronics and media. Jeff’s current portfolio companies include Lilliputian Systems, Pixtronix, MiaSole, and Gotuit Media. He was formerly on the Board of Atlas Venture portfolio companies eDial, which was acquired by Alcatel (NYSE: ALA) and Optovia which was acquired by JDS Uniphase (NSDQ: JDSU).
Before joining Atlas Jeff made venture capital investments for Intel Capital and spent 10 years in operating roles at Becton Dickinson and Lockheed Martin. Jeff holds six patents, four in fiber optics and two in medical systems. He was twice named Inventor of the Year at Lockheed Martin Aero and Naval Systems, and has authored numerous publications in technical journals.
Jeff holds a BS in Physics from Binghamton University, an MS in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University.
John F. Gault

John F. Gault has over forty years of experience in the cable industry ranging from management, executive management, and board advisory roles in industry, to teaching and activist leadership positions. John began his career as an Operation’s Manager at Teleprompter. In 1964, became the first VP of Operations of T.V.C., which ultimately became Warner Cable.
Also in 1964, John was named President of Continental Cable, a division of Vikoa. In 1970, John was named VP of Marketing of American Television Communications Corporation (ATC); for nine years he managed both line operations and many of the franchise activities of the company. In 1979, he was named President of Manhattan Cable Television, a division of Time Inc. and the nation's largest single-franchised urban cable system. He was also responsible for the franchising, construction and management of ATC's Queens Cable system as well as Paragon Cable in Northern Manhattan.
In 1986, he was named Executive VP of ATC Corporation, now Time Warner Cable. In September of 1989, as Executive VP, John was responsible for nine Time Warner Cable operating divisions. He was named Executive VP of Strategic Planning for Time Warner Cable from March 1998 thru his retirement from Time Warner Cable in November 1999.
John is also an active participant in cable industry affairs, having served as chairman of the New York State Cable Television Association from 1983 through 1988 and as chairman of the Utility Relations and Ethics Committee of the National Cable Television Association. He also spent ten years as an adjunct professor for New York University’s inter-active telecommunications Masters Degree program and, from 1995-1999, as Chairman of CTAM Education Foundation.
In is current position John serves on several boards including: Commission Junction (Board of Advisors), Central Florida Cable Communications (Chairman), EGT (Senior Advisor), Narad Networks (Advisory Board), NCUBE (Advisory Board), Gotuit (Board of Directors), Go-Net Networks Israel (Board of Directors), and Metropolitan Cable Communications (Board of Directors).
John is also a recipient of the NCTA's prestigious Vanguard award for State and Regional Association Leadership.
Michael Collette

Michael Collette has 18 years experience working at the seam where new technology has been changing the media and communications landscape. Mr. Collette provides strategic advisory services through his consulting company, MediaTech Strategies. In addition to serving on the Board of Gotuit, Michael is providing strategy and fund raising support for Stream Group, a leading provider of navigation applications for convergence on TV. Previous clients include Google TV, Scientific Atlanta (now Cisco), Samsung, Philips and Sony, as well as numerous startups.
Most recently, Mr. Collette was CEO of Ucentric Systems, the company that first productized whole home DVR with leading client DirecTV (sold to Motorola) and PhyFlex Networks, a broadband infrastructure company that provided outdoor Ethernet switches (sold to Ciena). Previously, Mr. Collette held senior executive positions with OpenTV, Active Video Networks (formerly ICTV), Motorola, and Playboy TV.
Mark Pascarella

Mark Pascarella is President & CEO. As one of Gotuit's founding investors, Mark has been a member of the company's Board of Directors since inception and joined Gotuit full-time in 2001. Under Pascarella's direction, Gotuit has pioneered video discovery / monetization and has become the leading provider of next-generation video products for multiple platforms including broadband, mobile, and cable.
Before joining Gotuit, Pascarella teamed up with Sidney Topol, the former Chairman and CEO of Scientific-Atlanta (Cisco), to found The Topol Group, an early-stage investment firm. In addition to Gotuit, The Topol Group's investments include broadband router manufacturer RiverDelta Networks (Motorola), cable services provider Navic Networks, and VoIP switch maker Cedar Point Communications. From 1992 to 1997, Pascarella worked in Business Development at Procter & Gamble.
He holds a BS in Management from Bucknell University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
